Chef Brenda
Originally from Texas, Brenda
moved to Seattle as a sous
chef, helping to establish the
authentic Southwest Canyon
Cafe. Interested in exploring
asian flavors,  Brenda joined the
team at Flying Fish.  

She  was then invited to
manage the kitchen at Flying
Fish's nuevo latino sister
restaurant, Fandango. While at
Fandango, Brenda received the
2003 Women's Chef and
Restauranteurs cooking
scholarship. Her most recent
endevor  was head
chef at Ovio Bistro.

Brenda has traveled extensively
through Spain, Japan, Portugal,
and India. Her culinary interests
have been enriched by her
travels and her ambitious
pursuit for new flavors. A
continued participation with the
WCR keeps Brenda tuned to
culinary trends.
